Werbach is a community in Tauberfranken in the northern Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The place Werbach with approx. 1270 inhabitants is the largest part of the municipality of the same name, other parts are Wenkheim (approx. 700 inhabitants), Gamburg (670 inhabitants), Brunntal, Niklashausen and Werbachhausen.

Gamburg lies in the valley of the Tauber at a former ford of the river and the confluence of the Maisenbach in the Tauber.
- The Gamburg Castle stands on a mountain spur above the Tauber. It was built in the 12th century by order of the Archbishops of Mainz. A special feature is the painting of the late Romanesque hall with motifs from the crusade. Also worth seeing is the castle park decorated with statues.

- The Eulschirbemühle was built in the 13th century outside of Gamburg. In the 16th century it was redesigned in the Renaissance style. The building is privately owned.
