Grünsfeld is a small town in Baden-Wuerttemberg, she lies in Tauberfranken.
background
Grünsfeld was first mentioned in a document in 750, it has had city rights since 1320. In the 17th century the place came to the prince-bishopric Wurzburg, from 1806 he became Baden. During the municipal reform from 1972-1975, the formerly independent villages Grünsfeldhausen, Paimar, Zimmer, Krensheim and Kützbrunn were incorporated.
