Zschopautal - Zschopautal

The Zschopautal extends along the river Zschopau from Fichtelberg area in the south to after Flea on the northern edge of the Ore Mountains, where the Flöha river meets the Flöhatal flows into the Zschopau. The Zschopau flows through the north of Flöha Central Saxon hill country. This section of the river deals with the separate side Lower Zschopau valley.

The follows except for the upper reaches ZschopautalbahnAnnaberg-Buchholz - Flea - (Chemnitz) the Zschopau valley. This section runs every hour on weekdays and every one to two hours on weekends. Since the Zschopautal is not continuously accompanied by roads, buses occasionally have to take detours and, as no bus line follows longer sections of the valley, require frequent transfers.
