Taipei (台北 or 臺北; Reběi) [1] is the national capital of the Republic of China or Taiwan.

Taipei is located in the northern part of the island in a basin between the Yangming Mountains and the Central Mountains. That is, with 2.6 million inhabitants, the fourth largest administrative region of Taiwan, after New Bac, Cao Hung and Taichung. Van Hoa (萬華區)
Wanhua is Taipei's oldest district, home to many historic buildings, such as the Longshan Temple and the Red Theater. Ximending is "Taipei's harajuku", a shopping street that focuses on teen fashion, Japanese culture and subculture.
Datong (大同區)
Datong was one of the oldest residential areas in what is now Taipei. It was usually the commercial center of the city, but lost its role as the economic center moved southeast to Trung Chinh, Dai An, and Tin Nghia. This district is today best known for Dihua Street with its Japanese colonial and Qing dynasty architecture and Chinese herbal and dry goods shops.
Trung Chinh (中正區)
The political center of Taiwan and the location of the Presidential Office and important government agencies. Its main tourist attraction is the Chiang Kai-shek memorial house.
Zhongshan (中山區)
Zhongshan has riverside parks, martyrs' temples, art museums, and bars.
Dai An (大安區)
Dai An is a modern commercial area. The northern part of Da'an is known as the East district of Taipei, offering boutiques, plenty of fashion boutiques, bars, lounges, restaurants and atmospheres, and some of the most expensive real estate in the city. The southern part of Daan is home to National Taiwan University and National Taiwan Normal University and many small shops and restaurants geared towards students.
Loyal (信義區)
Xinyi is Taiwan's modern financial district and home to Taipei 101, the World Trade Center, and the International Convention Center. This is the newest part of the city with many shopping and entertainment centers.
Songshan (松山區)
Many companies and financial institutions are in this area, directly north of the East District. Raohe Night Street Market is one of Taipei's famous oldest street markets.

Beitou (北投區)
Famous for its hot springs and Duong Minh Son National Park.
Shi Lam (士林區)
A traditional area of ​​the city known for its excellent museums, including the world famous National Palace Museum. Shilin is also home to one of Taipei's largest night markets and Tianmu expat lands.
Noi Ho (內湖區)
Located in the northeast of the city, Neihu is a hub of Taipei's IT industry, home to many large shopping malls, and a great place to walk and see places of worship. Taipei has a semi-tropical climate characterized by hot and humid weather. The most comfortable season to visit is in autumn, when rainfall is at its lowest and the average temperature is between a pleasant 20 °C. February-April is particularly humid with little sunlight, while summers can be very hot, but often punctuated by heavy thunder and rain. Taipei is prone to typhoons from May to October, although concentrations are highest in August and September. It is one of three international airports in Taiwan and is the busiest international airport Taiwan. It is the hub for China Airlines and EVA Air. This is one of the two airports serving the largest urban area Taiwan and the north Taiwan. The other airport is Taipei Songshan Airport which serves domestic flights and is located within the boundaries of Taipei. Previously, Songshan Airport was Taipei's main international airport before Taoyuan Airport was put into operation in 1979.

There are direct flights between this airport and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (China Airlines and Vietnam Airlines) and charter flights with Danang (TransAsia Airways).
