Geographical notes

Albino extends along the Seriano valley floor on both orographic sides.

The capital, on which the silhouette of the Mount Cornagera, is located on the hydrographic right of the Serio river, at the foot of the Selvino and Aviatico plateau, with which it is connected not only by paths and mule tracks, but also by the Albino-Selvino cable car. On the same orographic side there are the hamlets of Comenduno is Desenzano al Serio, located north of the capital itself, and that of Bondo Petello, located in a higher position, at the end of the valley of the Albina stream, between mount Nigromo and the mount Rena.

On the opposite side of the Seriana valley, the Lujo Valley develops, crossed by the homonymous torrent that rises near Colle Gallo, a watershed with the municipality of Gaverina Terme and the Cavallina valley. In this side valley, bordered to the north by the mount Altino and to the South-East from Mount Misma, we find the fractions of Fiobbio ed Abbey, placed in the valley floor, and those of Vall'Alta, Dossello e Farmhouse, located in hilly locations.
