Allensbach is a community on the shores of the Gnadensee, which is used by the Submarine of Lake Constance heard and towards the Reichenau Island lies.

Allensbach is known nationwide for the Institute for Demoscopy. The community has consisted of the formerly independent communities Allensbach, Hegne, Kaltbrunn and Langenrain since 1975. The municipality extends from the shores of the Untersee, the part of which is referred to here as Gnadensee, over the Bodanrück to the Überlinger See, which is the northern finger of Lake Constance. The area also borders the Mindelsee, a small glacier tongue lake on the Bodanrück.
Neighboring communities of Allensbach are Bodman-Ludwigshafen, Constancy, Radolfzell and the island Reichenau.

The 1 Allensbach station is on the railway line between Radolfzell and Constancy.
In the street
From the Hegau motorway junction on the A81 are there on the B33 about 20 km to Allensbach. Radolfzell is 9 km and Konstanz is 10 km away. The entrance to the town from the direction of Radolfzell is regulated by a gate light between 7.00 a.m. and 8.30 a.m., which means that you often get stuck in traffic jams at the site.

Marienschlucht
The 5 Marienschlucht is closed until further notice due to a landslide in 2015. It is a natural monument on the southern bank of the Überlinger See near the district of Langenrain. The narrow gorge was created by a stream that has dug deep into the ground. Wooden stairs are used to descend between 30 m high rock faces to the lake, some of which are only 1 m wide. The brook rushes under the stairs. The Marienschlucht is located between Bodman and Wallhausen on the southern steep bank of the Überlinger See. It's a good 6 km walk from Bodman and around 4 km from Wallhausen. You could also take the ship to the Marienschlucht, which is approached 3 times a day.Shipping Bodman.

Opposite the train station there is a supermarket and several small retailers, as well as two restaurants. Next to the train station is the 1 Bakery & Confectionery Ratzek, Konstanzer Straße 10, which also offers souvenirs (whitefish made of marzipan, sweet pebbles). Small souvenirs are also available from the tourist office in the train station. The Hoffmann butcher's shop is also located in the center of the village at Radolfzeller Str. 17. About 1 km north of the train station (Kaltbrunner Str. Out of town) in the industrial area there are three larger supermarkets and fashion and clothing stores.
