Tourist Attractions

Portal of the König-Albert-Bad

The center of the health resort is the Bathing place on the right side of the Elster, which is framed by spas from different eras - the oldest is from 1850/51 - and in the middle of which is the Marienquelle. I attach the music pavilion to the bathing area. Next to it is again the Art changing hall with the Moritzquelle, the oldest spring in Bad Elster, and the bathing museum, which is open Wednesday to Sunday from 2.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. That is on the other side of the bathing area Albertbad, which was built between 1908 and 1910 and is reminiscent of a baroque castle.

This is on the left side of the Elster royal Kurhaus and behind it the Albertpark. Another music pavilion and the one inaugurated in 1914 are located in front of the Kurhaus King Albert Theater. Further south you can find the neo-Gothic St. Trinity Church and the spindle source.

If you follow Badstrasse further south, you come to the Roman Catholic Church "Saint Elisabeth" from 1912/13.
