The Saxon State Bath Bad Brambach is in the south of the Saxon Vogtlands around 18 km south of Adorf and close to the Czech border on the von Plauen to Franzensbad in Czech Republic leading federal road B92) (Europastraße 49), which bypasses the place. Bad Brambach is the place with the strongest radon source in the world.

Bad Brambach is located on Fleißenbach, which rises immediately to the west on Czech territory and after crossing the municipality in Plesná (Diligence) returns to Czech territory.

The first mineral spring in Bad Brambach was found in 1860. In 1890, mineral water shipping was started. Brambacher Sprudel was the most important mineral water in the Vogtland. In 1911 the radon spring (later Wettin spring) was found and from 1912 the bathing business developed. The name Bad Brambach was given in 1922; At times the place was called Radiumbad Brambach.

The place owns the 1 Bad Brambach train station on the railway line Plauen–Bad Brambach and further on Cheb (Eger). The railway line is used by Vogtlandbahn trains every two hours.

Bad Brambach is over from the north Plauen, Oelsnitz and Adorf and from the south from the Czech Cheb (Eger) can be reached via the Vojtanov / Schönberg border crossing.
