Beuren is a state-approved health resort and relaxation area at the foot of the Swabian Alb.
background
Beuren is located on the northern edge of the Swabian Alb in an area where 17 million of the Swabian volcano was active. A drilling for mineral water was successful in 1970: the 38.5 ° C warm water bubbles from the 381 m depth Friedrichsquelle, and the water comes from a 775 m deep borehole Wilhelmsquelle at 48.3 ° C to the surface. First a thermal water basin was built, therapeutic facilities followed, and with the completion of the Panorama thermal baths the way was clear for recognition as a health resort with a health resort.
In addition to the core town, the town which was incorporated in 1938 also belongs to the municipality of Beuren Courtship wood.
Neighboring communities of Beuren are Nürtingen, Dettingen under Teck, Owen, Erkenbrechtsweiler, Neuffen and Frickenhausen.
Beuren is up to the Württemberg Wine Route, Großlage Hohenneuffen, single layer Schlosssteige.
