building
- 1 Teck Castle. It is located on the Teckberg at an altitude of 773 m. Originally, Burg Teck was the ancestral seat of the once powerful Zähringer, later the Dukes of Teck. The castle was destroyed in the peasant wars and remained a ruin for a long time. In 1899 a lookout tower was built and a restaurant with a hiker's home was added. The facility on the Teckberg is now owned by the Swabian Alb Association and is a very popular hiking destination.
- 2 Marienkirche. The Gothic church served the dukes of Teck as a burial place.
- 3 Bernhard Chapel. Originally Romanesque church, remodeled in the Gothic era. After the Reformation, it was initially used as a tithe barn, later as an arable house. Acquired by the city in 1988 and completely renovated. The Bernhardskapelle serves as a stylish setting for events. Visit with a guide.
