Wendlingen am Neckar is a small town in Baden-Wuerttemberg, it lies on the right bank of the Neckars in the Middle Alb foreland.

Wendlingen am Neckar was created in 1939/1940 through the amalgamation of the formerly independent municipalities Wendlingen, Unterboihingen and Bodelshofen. Wendlingen am Neckar has had city rights since 1964.

Neighboring communities are on the right side of the Neckar Wernau, Kirchheim unter Teck and OberboihingenThe villages are on the left bank of the Neckar Kings and Unterensingen.
