Nürtingen is a German City in the district of Esslingen in Baden-Wuerttemberg. It lies on the foreland of the middle Swabian Alb, at the Neckar.

The community consists of the city of Nürtingen and the incorporated towns of Oberensingen, Hardt, Zizishausen, Neckarhausen, Raidwangen and Reudern, which are now part of the city.

The old town of Nürtingen is located on a former mountain of the Neckar. After the city fire in 1750, the city was rebuilt in the baroque style.
