Kirchheim unter Teck is a city at the foot of the Swabian Alb.

Kirchheim was first mentioned in a document in 960. In the 13th century the place received city rights, and Kirchheim has belonged to Württemberg since the 14th century. The places Lindorf, Ötlingen, Jesingen and Nabern are districts of the large district town of Kirchheim.

The city center is largely a pedestrian zone with many small retail shops, cafes and boutiques. Most shops are open until around 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, some close earlier on Saturdays.
The two opposite shopping centers Nanz-Center and TeckCenter are on the edge of the pedestrian zone just outside the city center and offer paid parking spaces.
- The Nanz-Center is open Monday to Saturday until 8:00 p.m., some shops such as Marktkauf are also open longer. Here you can park for 90 minutes free of charge, provided you shop there. Parking beyond this period is chargeable.
- The TeckCenter is open until 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and until 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Parking is basically free for the first 60 minutes, after which you pay € 2 for the entire day.
