- Romanesque church St. Nicholas with origins as far back as the 13th century, historical frescoes;
- There is still a stock of partly ancient ones in the village Farmswhich have been preserved quite well in their historical structure with a bundwerk in the roof. E.g. the Meßnerhof (next to the parish inn at the church) is estimated to have been built around the 13th century.
- Lake Durnholz
- Idyllic and fish-rich alpine lake at an altitude of 1540 m, with a total area of approx. 12 hectares, approx. 900 meters long, 350 meters wide and up to 13 meters deep. Bathing in the ice-cold water is only something for die-hard people, there is a hiking trail that can be walked around the lake in summer and winter.
- The lake owes its creation to a landslide that dammed the Seebbach and Großalmbach from the adjoining valleys to form the lake.
- The legend tells the story of the lake farmer, who had forbidden his servants to stop working in the meadow to pray the "Ave Maria" because a thunderstorm was threatening. The thunderstorm that followed turned the brooks into raging rivers and the meadow was turned into Lake Durnholz.
