11:00-20:00. It is a new "city within a city" developed on the site of an old brewery.

A must for photography enthusiasts, with multiple floors of constantly changing exhibits showcasing the best photos from around Japan and the world. Entrance fees depend on the exhibits you want to visit, but there are often free ones.

Admission is free and you can try 6 types of beer for ¥ 400. Alternatively there are guided tours in Japanese which include two beers and cost ¥ 500..
Tue-Sun 11: 00-19: 00. A not too interesting permanent exhibit covering the brewing process in general and the history of the Japan Beer Brewery Company which developed Yebisu beer and which is now part of the Sapporo Breweries. There's also a virtual brewery adventure for you to try.

Shopping
- There is a large shopping mall and department store right in the JR Ebisu station.
- 1 Ebisu Garden. There are several boutiques here, including a Mitsukoshi department store. The beer museum "gift shop" deserves a special mention.

Ebisu is also a trendy nightlife district, with many slightly quirky bars and clubs.

17:00-04:00. A small standing bar with many varieties of high quality sake available in standard sized bottles.

15:00-24:00. An English pub where football is always on the television.

12:00-21:30. One of Tokyo's best known and oldest nightclubs, although it was previously in Kabukichō.

Tue-Sun 17: 00-24: 00. An extremely popular English pub in the heart of Ebisu. Quite expensive (any imported cost close to 1000 yen), but it has one of the best British beer and cider selections in town.

11:30-23:30. You can try a lot of beer for a low price.

18:00-03:00. A small restaurant on the second floor of an unassuming building behind Ebisu station; offers fresh fish and a large selection of sake. The menus are in Japanese but the staff speak English.

Mon-Sun 16: 00-05: 00. The restaurant looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. It's not a bad choice just for drinks, which start at ¥ 400 for a draft beer. This is a yakiniku restaurant.
- 3 Zest Cellar, Ebisu 1-22-19 (3 min. from the east exit), ☎ 81 3-5475-6291. Good Tex-Mex cuisine and drinks in a large space modeled after a western sedan.
- 4 Kimu Katsu (キ ム カ ツ 恵 比 寿 本店), Ebisu 4-9-5, ☎ 81 3-5420-2929. A cutlet shop. The special cheese cutlet is recommended.
- 5 Aoyuzu (恵 比 寿), 1 Chome-8-14 Ebisu, ☎ 81 3-3449-5075.
