The city does not have its own airport. The closest ones are located at Bologna (about 50 km away) e Rimini (about 100 km away)

On the train
The Faenza railway station is located on the Milan-Bari line, therefore easily reachable from the main Italian cities. In addition, the city is also served by the "Faentina" line, which connects it directly to Florence through a characteristic hilly route.

Events and parties
- Nott de Bisò, Piazza del Popolo, ☎ 39 0546 691651. This event takes place on January 5th of each year. At midnight a bonfire is lit to burn the Niballo of the past year, a symbol of adversity. Tradition has it that the head of Niballo, going to fall, indicates the district that will win the palio of the following summer. In the various stands you can enjoy gastronomic specialties including bisò, a hot boiled wine with aromas and spices.
- Palio del Niballo, Piazzale Pancrazi, ☎ 39 0546 691651. The Palio takes place on the fourth Sunday in June and consists of a galloping event, whose aim of the contenders is to hit the target positioned at the end of the two arms of the Niballo with their spear. The contenders are the 5 historic districts of Faenza
