Introduction

There Trans-Siberian Railway (in Russian: Транссибиирская магистраль trahns-see-BEER-skuh-yuh mah-gee-STRAHL ' or Транссийб trahns-SEEB), or Transsib is the name given to three railway lines which, crossing the Siberia, arrive at Moscow.

  • There Trans-Mongolian departs from Moscow and arrives in Beijing passing through Ulanbaatar, capital of the Mongolia.
  • There Trans-Manchurian travels through Siberia to reach Beijing.
  • There Trans-Siberian runs all along Siberia to finish in Vladivostok eastern tip of Russia.

The Trans-Siberian is the longest railway in the world. It was built between 1891 and 1916 to connect the capital, Moscow with the farthest eastern city, Vladivostok.
