The city is located in the Central Polish Lowlands, within the boundaries of the area Plains Łowicz-Błońska at the confluence of the valleys of three rivers: Mrogi, Mrożycy and Brzuśni. It has two lagoons with an area of ​​39 ha, fed by the waters of the Mroga river, and the third one fed by Mrożyca. There, take any train going through Łowicz (Koleje Mazowieckie and PKP Intercity trains - TLK or IC, but not EIC). Some of the Koleje Mazowieckie trains depart from the Warszawa Śródmieście station, located in the vicinity of the Warszawa Centralna station (the stations are connected by an underground passage). In Łowicz change to the ŁKA train towards Łódź.
