Ukleisee
For many, the small Ukleisee is the most beautiful lake in Holstein Switzerland. The approximately 1.2 km long lake is located near Sielbeck east of the Kellersee. It lies in a valley covered with an enchanted beech forest. The water was formed in the last ice age as Dead lake. From the hunting lodge you have a beautiful view of the lake. The building can be visited in the season Tue-Sun between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. (the building can also be closed during this time, as it can be rented for private events).
The lake, which is a nature reserve, can be circled on a 3.5 km walk. The Ukleisee is also a nice destination per ship on the Kellersee from Malente-Gremsmühlen or Eutin-Fissau. From the jetty in Sielbeck walk about 500 m to the lake.
