The A8 Innkreis Autobahn is an Austrian motorway that is completely in the Austrian state Upper Austria runs. It forms the eastern continuation of the German Federal motorway 3, which leads from the Dutch to the Austrian border and with the crossing of the Inns Austria reached. It also forms part of the Europastraße 56 and east of Ried im Innkreis the Europastraße 552. At the junction Voralpenkreuz it merges into the Pyrhn Autobahn A9. The length of the motorway is 77.442 km.

The planning of the Innviertel expressway S 9, which would have brought a shorter connection to Munich, was abandoned. The expanded Ried im Innkreis node still bears witness to this.

Like all Austrian motorways, the "Innkreis Autobahn" runs along its entire length vignette required! The mileage count (and the counting of the connection points at the same time) begins at the Voralpenkreuz near Sattledt and then rises westward to the Austrian-German border.
