Inwałd (German: Hennenwalde) is a place in Poland in the southern voivodeship Lesser Poland near Krakow between Little Beskids and the Silesian promontory. He is mostly because of his Miniature parks known.

background

The place was first mentioned in 1317 and belonged to the Duchy of Auschwitz and after its division in 1445 to the Duchy of Zator. With the First Partition of Poland in 1772 Inwałd came to the Habsburg Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, which it remained until the First World War. After the First World War, the city became Polish again. After the German invasion of Poland, the place was directly incorporated into the Third Reich. In 1945 he came back to Poland.
