Iwonicz-Zdrój is a spa town in the voivodeship Subcarpathian in the southeast Poland in the Lower Beskids. The place is east of the Lesser Poland spa triangle Krynica-Zdrój, Muszyna-Zdrój and Piwniczna-Zdrój. The health resort is in the immediate vicinity Rymanów-Zdrój. He is on Beskydy main hiking trail, the longest long-distance hiking trail in Poland.

Medicinal waters in the place were mentioned as early as 1413, making the place one of the oldest health resorts in Poland. Already in the early modern times Iwonicz was visited by spa guests who came here for the healing waters. The Old Bath and the Palais date from the 1830s, the Kurhaus from the 1860s and the Kurkirche from the 1890s. Spa tourism experienced a boom in the 1870s when the place was connected to the railway network.
