Korbielów is a mountain town in the polishSilesian Voivodeship in the Saybuscher Beskids. Its location at the foot of the Pilsko makes it a major center of tourism in the Beskydy Mountains. The place offers opportunities for winter sports and is the starting point for hikes in all parts of the Saybuscher Beskids.

background

The place was cleared by the Wallachians in the 15th century. Tourism began to develop in the early 19th century. Korbielów has been a winter sports resort since 1970.

The railway lines run north of the place. The closest train station is Żywiecwhere you have to switch to buses.
