Milówka is a mountain town in the polishSilesian Voivodeship between Silesian Beskids and the Saybuscher Beskids. Its location makes it a major center of tourism in the Beskydy Mountains. The place offers opportunities for winter sports and is the starting point for hikes in parts of the Silesian and Saybuscher Beskids.

The place at the Soła was first mentioned in a document in 1537. In 1872 the place received city rights. Tourism began to develop in the early 19th century.
