Laupheim is a city in Upper Swabia. It's up to the Upper Swabian Baroque Street

Laupheim is located in northern Upper Swabia. The place was first mentioned in a document in 778, at that time it belonged to the Duchy of Swabia. In 1331 Laupheim came into the possession of the Austrian Habsburgs. In 1806 the place became part of the Kingdom of Württemberg. In 1869 Laupheim received city rights.

During the regional reform between 1972 and 1975, the formerly independent communities of Baustetten, Bihlafingen, Untersulmetingen and Obersulmetingen were incorporated and thus became districts of Laupheim.
