Lossburg is a parish in the upper part of the Kinzigtals in the Middle Black Forest.

The municipality of Loßburg is a climatic health resort. The Kinzig rises in its area and flows into the Rhine after 95 km at Kehl. Today's community was created through incorporations: Rodt was first incorporated in 1938, followed by the formerly independent towns of Lombach, Schömberg (Loßburg), Sterneck, Zwanzig Höfe and Wittendorf around 1974. The last time Betzweiler-Wilder was incorporated was in 2007.

Neighboring towns of Lossburg are Alpirsbach, Freudenstadt, Smooth and Dornhan.
