What see

Bell tower of the Church of S. Antonio Abate
Ethnographic Museum of Val Vestino
  • Church of S. Antonio Abate. Rebuilt between 1739 and 1744, the church bell tower was built in 1768. As in many other buildings in the Val Vestino and in almost all the churches in the valley, the flooring of the church is of red and yellow harmonic from the "Marmer" quarries of the Mount Denervo. Among the works preserved in the religious building, the most important are: the altarpiece dedicated to the "Coronation of the Virgin with St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony the Abbot and St. Lawrence", created by the Brescian painter Francesco Savanni in 1763 and located on the altar major, the "Madonna del Rosario" painted by the Veronese painter Bartolomeo Zeni of Bardolino and the small canvas depicting the "Madonna delle Grazie" which was donated to the community of Magasa by the count Carlo Ferdinando Lodron who, in 1714, had it painted a Rome copying from a painting of San Luca. In the church in July 1866 the Garibaldini of the major stopped Luigi Castellazzo.
  • 1 Church of San Lorenzo, Cadria. Probably built by the Lombards, the church was certainly renovated in 1547.
  • Alpine church of Cima Rest. Consecrated to the Madonna della Neve, it was inaugurated on 7 August 1982.
  • 2 Cima Rest barns. Stone barns with a wooden roof, pointed and with very steep pitches, covered with superimposed bundles of wheat stalks grown on high ground because the straw of the wheat grown at low altitudes rots. The barns are used on the first floor as a shelter for animals, for the processing of cheese and its temporary conservation, on the second floor as a deposit for forage.
  • Ethnographic Museum of Val Vestino. The museum was inaugurated in 2000 in the old barn of the late Americo Stefani. Inside the barn, on two floors, ingenious sledges for hay transport, hay sickles, dairy and woodworking tools testify to the hard and industrious life of many generations of farmers and woodcutters.
  • Somalàf water mill and the "calderöla", near the course of the Magasino stream in Somalàf (under the inhabited area of Magasa). Today the mill has been transformed into a rustic house, but in the past it worked at the service of the Community for the grinding of the wheat that was grown in the countryside surrounding the town. The movement of the wooden wheel was generated by the force of the water of the stream called "Acqua delle Fever". The last miller was Angelo Mazza Scarpèt who, towards 1970, sold the building to a buyer from the Garda Riviera. Near the mill, a few hundred meters away, there is the pot of the giants locally called "calderöla" formed by the erosive flow of the stream Magasino. Due to the erosion of the surrounding soil, it is no longer possible to approach the muffler.
