Goiás is a state of Brazil, located in the central western region.

Geographical notes
Located in the central-western part of the country. It borders to the west with the Bolivia and the state of Rondônia, north with the states of Amazonas is Para, east with the states of Tocantins is Goiás and to the south with the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The state is characterized by three great landscapes: to the north the Amazon rainforest, to the center the landscape of the savannah of the Cerrado and to the south the marshy area of Pantanal.

Urban centers
- Cuiabá - The state capital. Although it was founded in the Baroque period, it has long been unremarkable and has only a few colonial buildings, but it is still an ideal starting point for excursions to the Pantanal and al Chapada dos Guimarães National Park.
- High Floresta - Popular destination forecotourism at the southern end of the Amazon rainforest.
- Barra do Garças - A small but developed tourist town known as the "Rio de Janeiro western. "Among its attractions are its spas and seaside resorts.
- Curvelândia - Small city among beautiful landscapes dotted with caves and rivers with clear waters.

- 4 Campos Amazônicos National Park (Parque Nacional dos Campos Amazônicos) - Extended park in the States of Rondônia, Amazonas and Mato Grosso
- 5 Juruena National Park (Parque Nacional do Juruena) - The third largest national park in the Brazil.
