Montélimar is a city in the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and is halfway between Valence and orange in the Rhône Valley, around 150 kilometers north of the Mediterranean coast.

Montélimar is located on the northern edge of the Mediterranean climate. From Montélimar at the latest, the Mediterranean culture becomes clear, and the vegetation in Montélimar is also very southern. Collégiale Sainte-Croix

Montélimar has become a nougat city with a nougat museum due to its southern location and the relative proximity to the African and Arab cultural area. Montélimar has a picturesque, southern old town with good restaurants, the Château de Adhémar and an aviation museum are well worth seeing.
