Neidenstein is a municipality in the north Kraichgau, it is located in the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park.

background

The community of Neidenstein is traversed by the Schwarzbach. The original old town center is on the western side of the valley. Industry, commercial area and some newer residential buildings are located on the east side.

Neighboring places are Eschelbronn, Waibstadt, Epfenbach, Helmstadt-Bargen and Spechbach.

The railway line Meckesheim-Aglasterhausen runs here parallel to the Schwarzbach. At the 1 railway station During the day, trains stop every half hour P 51 the Rhein-Neckar S-Bahn. There are also direct connections to Heidelberg and Mannheim.

The L 549 comes from Waibstadt, cuts through the place and goes towards Meckesheim.
