Niederstotzingen is a small town in the Lower Alb, it lies in the tourism region Stauferland.

The place Niederstotzingen is in the Lower Alb, which are also called Lone Valley Alb referred to as. This region was already settled in the Stone Age, as the finds from the surrounding caves show. The first written mention of the place comes from the year 1049. Niederstotzingen was raised to town in 1365. In 1806 the city became part of Württemberg.
