Nordheim is a community on the edge of the Zabergeus.
background
The municipality of Nordheim is located in the Zabergäu on the southern edge of the Heuchelbergs, it is surrounded by cities Heilbronn, Leingarten, Schwaigern, Brackenheim and Lauffen. The place was founded in the 9th century and has been part of Württemberg since 1380. During the Thirty Years' War and the War of the Palatinate Succession, Nordhausen was repeatedly almost completely burned down. The village belongs to Nordheim Nordhausen, it was founded around 1700 for Waldensianswho were expelled from their French homeland.

Nordheim is on the railway line from Heilbronn to Stuttgart, in the small one 1 Only regional trains stop at the train station at the eastern end of the village.
In the street
Nordheim is crossed from north to south by the L1105, which leads from Schwaigern to Lauffen and is located on the L1106 between Heilbronn and Brackenheim.
By boat
Nordheim is located on an old arm of the Neckar. Boats of the Neckar shipping usually stop in the neighboring towns of Lauffen and Heilbronn.
