Schwaigern is a city on Hypocritical mountain in Baden-Wuerttemberg and lies in Heilbronn district.

Schwaigern is located on the river Lein on the northern edge of the Heuchelbergs in the southwest of the Heilbronn district. The first documentary mention comes from the year 766. Since 1806 the place is part of Württemberg. The formerly independent communities of Massenbach, Niederhofen and Stetten were incorporated as part of the district reform between 1971 and 1973.
Neighboring towns of Schwaigern are Eppingen, Gemmingen, Massenbachhausen, Heilbronn, Leingarten and Brackenheim.
Schwaigern is known for its viticulture and belongs to Württemberg Wine Route.

By train
The Kraichgaubahn of Karlsruhe above Boards and Eppingen to Heilbronn is also called a line S 4 the Heilbronner Stadtbahn, has several stops in the area of the city of Schwaigern:

The quickest way to get to the motorway in a northerly direction is via the L1107 through Massenbachhausen and Fürfeld to A6
35 Bad Rappenau. An alternative to the east is that B293which leads from Karlsruhe to Heilbronn directly north of Schwaigern. over Leingarten one arrives at B27 in the Neckar valley to 36 Heilbronn-Untereisesheim.
