Burg's boat port
- Castle (Spreewald) - Largest scattered settlement in Germany in the eastern Oberspreewald.
- Luebben (Spreewald) - Big place at the southern end of the Unterspreewald. Transition to the Oberspreewald.
- Lübbenau / Spreewald - Tourist center at Oberspreewald with the largest boat ferry port.
- Vetschau / Spreewald - Entrance gate in the south of the Spreewald with a connection to the railway.
- Raddusch - Place on the southern edge of the Spreewald. The main attraction is the new one Slavic castle
- Straupitz - The city in the north of the region is known for its church built by Schinkel.

- Lehde - Museum village near Luebbenau
- Alt Zauche and New Zauche are located north of the high forest on the edge of the Oberspreewald.

The cities are the gateway to the Upper Spreewald Luebben, Luebbenau and Vetschau. You have access to the motorway (A13 Connection points 7 Freiwalde,
8 Duben and
7 Lübbenau as well
3 Vetschau at the A15). All cities have a train station and are with the one between cottbus and Berlin to reach the regional express train.

- Bismarck Tower - Distinctive tower north of Castle and one of the landmarks of the place.
- Straupitz windmill - The mill was reconstructed between 2001 and 2003 and is back in operation. The mill is on today "producing technical monument" and can be visited against admission. There is a café at the mill.
