How to get
By plane
Airport of Tampere is Ryanair's hub in Finland so there are a couple of direct flights to some secondary airports in Europe, as well as some flights to Scandinavian destinations.
On the train
Tampere is well connected with the southern part, western is northern of the country with buses and trains about every hour that leave for Helsinki is Turku. To access the Eastern Finland, in most cases, you have to move to Jyväskylä (by train or bus) or a Lahti (by bus).
