Polynesia It is the easternmost area of Oceania, made up of thousands of islands scattered throughout the Pacific Ocean. Despite being separated by great maritime distances, these islands share many cultural traits in common. From Hawaii until the Easter Island, Polynesian culture was passed down thanks to expert navigators who communicated these islands for centuries.
