Weser ferry. On the opposite bank you can see the course of the Weser cycle path.
1 Giers cable ferry across the Weser . Ferry times: Mon - Fri 6.30 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sat 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sun 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. From January to March, there are limited ferry times on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
2 Boat launch at the campsiteWater hikers on the Weser find suitable places to rest and stay overnight in Polle. Mooring at the campsite: jetty and slipway. Due to strong currents, the ferry can only be passed on the eastern bank! To moor at the campsite, only change to the western bank after passing the ferry.
By bicycle
The Weser cycle path runs on the opposite bank of the Weser from Polle. Cyclists can take the small Gierseil-Ferry for a rest, sightseeing or overnight stay.

- 1 Polle castle ruins, Amtsstrasse 4A, 37647 Polle. Tel.: 49 55 35 411. The castle of those of Everstein, first mentioned in 1285, fell victim to the flames during the Thirty Years' War as a result of a siege by the Swedish troops in 1641 and has only survived as a ruin since then. The lower castles, which were rebuilt after the Thirty Years' War, fell victim to the fighting in the last days of World War II. Today the ruin is used as an open-air theater, it takes as one of several places for itself, residence of the Cinderella's to have been. Therefore, Polle is also part of the German fairy tale route. The castle ruins are located on a rock directly above the banks of the Weser. The outer facilities, including the pigeon house and golden shoe, are freely accessible, and entrance fees have to be paid for the castle ruins themselves.Open: May - October daily 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

- 1 NP market, Fährstrasse 2, 37647 Polle. The supermarket with a separate bakery is conveniently located for cyclists and paddlers only about 100 m from the ferry terminal.
