The German fairy tale route leads over around 700 km with various alternatives from Hanau above kassel to Bremen.

If you want to complete the entire route of the fairy tale route from Hanau to Bremen or Buxtehude in one vacation, it is best to plan 2 weeks. Because there is much more to discover than just the "Grimm fairy tales".

Note: the route suggestions in this article do not correspond to the official route down to the last detail. In the interests of the traveler, the routes have been partially optimized and more clearly structured.

The German Fairy Tale Route

From Hanau to Marburg

~> 50 km on the A 66 to Gelnhausen and Steinau an der Straße.House
