Raasdorf is a community in Marchfeld, about three kilometers east of the Viennese City limits at Neuessling.

The municipality includes two localities:

  • Raasdorf (main town), approx. 640 inhabitants
  • Pysdorf (also: Bahnhofsiedlung), approx. 20 inhabitants

Neighboring communities are Aderklaa, Deutsch-Wagram, Parbasdorf, Vienna (22., Danube city), Groß-Enzersdorf and Großhofen.

  • 1 Raasdorf train station- About 1.5 km southeast off the state road L5 to Leopoldsdorf in the village of Pysdorf. Regional trains from Vienna Central Station to Marchegg, Not however regional express trains Vienna Central Station - Bratislava Hlavná Stanica. Boarding options in Vienna, etc. also in Simmering (U3), Stadlau (U2). From / to Bratislava you have to change trains in Marchegg or Siebenbrunn-Leopoldsdorf.

By bus

  • Regional bus 593 (http://www.vor.at) from Großenzersdorf or Wien Hausfeldstraße (U2)
  • Vienna bus line 24A: Kagraner Platz (U1) - Neuessling and then a three-kilometer walk.
  • Similarly, night bus line N23 to Neuessling

Well-developed field and goods roads are easy to get to on foot or by bike from the neighboring villages or Wien Neuessling. Surface outside of the built-up areas mostly compact gravel / sand.
