European Region of Gastronomy (in English: ERG - European Region Of Gastronomy) is an international project for the enhancement of the gastronomy territories in European continent. Coordinator is IGCAT, "International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism", organization no profit founded in 2012.
To encourage and enable the achievement of the objectives, the project provides for the assignment of the title of "European Region of Gastronomy" to two or three regions of the platform each year.
Founding regions: County of Aarhus (Denmark), Marseille-Provence (France), Lombardy (Italy), Line-Gauja (Latvia), Malta, North Brabant (Netherlands), Minho (Portugal), District of Sibiu (Romania), Catalonia (Spain).
