  • 1 Killarney - Tourism is Killarney's main economic activity, which disposes after Dublin of the largest number of overnight accommodations, including B & Bs and hotels. Located in the eastern part of the deep valley of the MacGillicuddy Reeks, just after the homonyms as famous Killarney Lakes and the Killarney National Park, the city is the starting point for explorers of the Ring of Kerry, Valentia Island and the Skellig islands. However, the center also has remarkable buildings and corners, such as Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey, the manor Muckross House, the ruins of the Inisfallen monastery and last but not least the elegant cathedral.
  • 2 Killarney Lakes - There are three bodies of water located near the homonymous town in Kerry. I'm the Lough Leane, the Muckross Lake (also called Middle Lake) and theUpper Lake.
  • 3 Killarney National Park - Encompasses an area of approximately 10,000 hectares of mountain and lake territory in County Kerry, South West Ireland. It is the first national park established in Ireland. The park is located at the beginning of the Iveragh Peninsula, and the narrow road that crosses it from north to southwest is part of the Ring of Kerry. From this road, roughly in correspondence with the central lake, a short and steep path starts which heads towards the Torc Falls, of 18 m jump.

The village is quiet which invites you to spend some time in this peaceful corner of Ireland.
