Birthplace of Joseph Haydn
  • 1 Haydn birthplace: A thatched-roof farmhouse, accessible as the Joseph Haydn Memorial and Haydn Museum.
  • 2 Rohrau Castle: late baroque castle with a facade in the simple Josephine style
  • Count Harrachsche Picture Gallery, in Rohrau Castle. Austria's largest private collection of 17th and 18th century paintings.
  • 3 Parish Church of St. Vitus with Haydn organ and tomb of the Haydn's parents. Wonderful ensemble of parish church, cemetery, chapel at the cemetery entrance, wrought-iron baroque cemetery gate, chestnut trees around the church grounds.
  • Marian column, at Stephanie-Harrach-Platz. With a kneeling representation of Mary in prayer position.
  • Haydn monument, in front of the Rohrau municipal office. The supposedly oldest Haydn monument in the world.
