  • 1 Wolkersdorf Castle, Four-wing complex, outer walls and tower basements (first half of the 13th century), conversions and extensions in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. 1706 redesign by Emperor Karl VI. to the hunting lodge. After the renovation in 1956, the castle is the seat of the district court.
  • 2 Catholic parish church hl. Margaretha (Wolkersdorf, Kirchenplatz): Baroque hall church with Gothic choir (built before 1350). Tower and baroque additions to the choir built in 1754. Baroque high altar from 1768. Restoration in 1968. The staircase to the parish church is included six baroque stone figures (Inscription: 1727) of Saints Joseph, Maria Immaculata, Leopold, Karl Borromäus, Johannes Nepomuk and Florian.
  • 3 Maria Lourdes Chapel (Wolkersdorf, Johannesgasse 20a): Neo-Gothic-Neo-Romanesque chapel, consecrated in 1890. Extensions in 1909 (architect Hans Schneider) and 1970. Glass paintings from the beginning of the 20th century.
  • 4 St. Nepomuk (Münichsthal): Simple baroque church, built in 1737 and extended to the southwest in 1907.
  • 5 Catholic parish church hl. Anthony of Padua (Obersdorf, Hauptstraße 52): Erected 1858-1864, extended 1910-1912 (architect Hubert Gangl), picture on the high altar from 1864.
  • 6 Plague column (Wolkersdorf, Kirchenplatz): Baroque Trinity Column, erected in 1714.

  • Wartberg, west of Riedenthal. Forest and Pannonian dry grassland over tertiary sand on the steep western slope. Here grow, among other things Spring Adonis, Austrian pygmy clover, sword elephant, narrow-leaf flax, yellow tooth rust, black pasque flower and horse donkey.
  • Hochleithenwald. Largest oak and hornbeam forest in the Weinviertel.
