The Bagpipe is a 674 m high mountain in the southeastern foothills of the Rothaargebirge at Biedenkopf in Hessen. The mountain can be seen from afar through the transmission tower.

The observation tower and the leisure center on the mountain invite you to visit in both summer and winter.

getting there

By train

The next train station is Biedenkopf (accessible from Marburg or Erndtebrück). Intercity trains and regional express trains on the Kassel - Frankfurt line stop in Marburg.

The mountain can be reached in a day's hike from the train station in Biedenkopf.

In the street

Of the B253 A small asphalt road branches off up the mountain between Hatzfeld-Eifa and Biedenkopf. This leads to the leisure center at a height of about 640 m.
