What see

  • Church of Sant'Eustachio Placido. The church was founded in the 13th century. It maintained the shape of a medieval church until 1802 when restorations transformed it into a neoclassical church. This is evident in the facade with side columns with Ionic capitals and Latin inscriptions on the architrave. The bell tower has a clock; the rest of the church externally remained medieval with rough stone material and raised level on the transept.
The interior is very rich: two altars for the patron saint and St. Dominic, made of polychrome marble with representations of flowers and frame circles, from the Abruzzese and Neapolitan schools. In fact, an author is Tommaso Brunetti di Alfedena (XVIII century).
The altar of San Domenico is richer, with a wind rose on the marble altarpiece, two side flowers and a cameo angel in the cell where the chalice and hosts are kept.
  • Spinola Castle. It was built by King Arerchi in the 10th century and modified in the 17th century. It is spread over three levels with a large internal courtyard. There are still elements of the Lombard age as regards the square and sober corner towers, and for the filled moat. Today the castle is used as a museum and open-air theater.
  • 1 Angevin Fortress of Roccapipirozzi. It was built before 1320, and still has its original appearance today.
Rectangular castle with crowning corbels and various battlements, the large cylindrical tower with traces of battlements on the top is of interest. On the southern edge there is a second shoe tower for reserve protection of the castle. Until the time of the wars of the fifteenth century the castle served as the main stronghold to defend the Molise from invasions of the Campania or of Lazio.
