Soma Bay (Arabic:خليج سوما باي‎, Chalīǧ Sōmā Bāi, „Sōmā Bay“) Is an artificially created luxury resort on the headland Raʾs Abū Sōma (‏رأس أبو سوما‎, „Abū-Sōmā / Saumā chap“) On the coast of Red sea in Egypt about 15 kilometers north of Safāgā or 48 kilometers south of Hurghada with luxury hotel facilities. The department belongs to Red Sea Riviera. The resort offers sports such as diving, kite surfing and golf, as well as wellness treatments such as thalassotherapy.

Immediately south of Soma Bay is with Abū Sōmā another vacation resort.

The 5 km long and 2 km wide peninsula forms the northern boundary of Soma Bay and lies between Hurghada and Safāgā on the Red Sea. The small resort was owned by the Abu Soma Development Co. Designed from the start as a luxury holiday complex since 1991. Construction work began in August 1995.[1] The first hotels were completed two years later.

The holiday resort has its own water treatment plant and sewage treatment plant. The resort includes sports facilities, a golf course and a boat harbor. All hotels have a sandy beach.
