Holiday life takes place on Strandallee. It leads from the L 859 directly to the North Sea. The apartments are located to the left and right of Strandallee. The way to Wilhelmshaven is not far. It is only a few kilometers behind Eckwarden and the district Eckwarderhörne. In the summer season until August, a bicycle and passenger ferry runs over the Jade Bay to Wilhelmshaven. This city is not to be missed. There is a lot to see, even if a large part of the port is closed to passenger traffic because it is a military port. The Bundeswehr has stationed a large part of its fleet here.
