Citizens of the countries identified in green above can visit Trinidad and Tobago without a visa. Since December 15, 2015, citizens of the countries ofSchengen area can stay in Trinidad and Tobago without a visa for a maximum period of 90 days in any period of 180 days. Citizens ofArgentina, from Brazil, of the Colombia, of the South Korea, from Costa Rica, of the'Iceland, ofIsrael, from Liechtenstein, from Mexico, of the Norway, of the Swiss, of the'Uruguay and Venezuela can extend their visit. In addition to the above exemptions, citizens Chinese and Haitians with a diplomatic passport are also exempt from visa to enter Trinidad and Tobago.
Citizens ofAustralia and some New Zealand can get visa waiver (Waiver of the Visa) at the arrival. In Trinidad and Tobago, the car is king. Driving is on the left like in the UK, but you get used to it quite quickly.
The most widely used means of public transport are taxis, maxi-taxis and, to a lesser extent, the bus. [1].

There is a daily connection between Port of Spain and Scarborough. It is provided by the Port Authorithy of T&T. There are several departures during the day. The journey time is 4 h .
By car
The road network is paved in all regions of the territory, but beware of the many narrow and winding sections.
If you are planning an overnight trip, remember to check your fuel gauge as few gas stations stay open after a certain time (i.e. early ...). On the other hand, it is advisable to lock the doors at this time when you are moving.
Renting a car can be done from the age of 25 and it is advisable to have an international driving license. Many cars are equipped with an automatic gearbox, few city cars but a lot of sedans are offered.
