Vellmar is a small town in North Hesse, it borders directly on the northern city limits of kassel.

Vellmar was mentioned as a filmmaker as early as 775 AD. On the occasion of the 1200th anniversary in 1975, Vellmar was granted city rights. The place is in the bacon belt of the city of Kassel and belongs to the district of Kassel.

Ancestral Park
