(2016, entire site of Thiers de Lanaye, Vignes, Nivelles and Caster, as listed)
Classified, partly as a nature and bird sanctuary, it covers an area of approximately 200 hectares, including 72 in Visé, on the territory of the municipalities of Bassenge, Riemst, Aimed and Maastricht between the valleys of the Meuse, to the east, and from Geer, West . Its limestone composition, its richness in flint kidneys, its anthropization and its geographical position giving it a relatively warm microclimate make it a remarkable place for various reasons. The discovery of fossils is not uncommon there, it has the richest accommodation of bats (Chiroptera) and the richest orchid meadows (Orchidaceae) from Benelux, the presence of tuffeau, already extracted by Celts, made that the hill is pierced, especially on the “Meuse” side, with numerous galleries.

Paired with brick, Meuse limestone and tufa, it is one of the jewels of style architecture Mosan renaissance. The roof, characteristic of this style, is steeply sloping four-sided with a protruding cornice and is pierced with dormers. It is terminated by a polygonal bulb, culminating in 34 meters and typical of this Mosan style, housing a carillon with fifteen bells which plays on the hour Where can we be better? ofAndré Grétry, to the quarter an air of the Visétois Crossbowmen, to the half-hour the Valorous Liegeois of the'Abbot Ramoux and three quarters, an air of the Visétois Arquebusiers.

- 11 Saint-Lambert Church rue de Lixhe 13 –
(entrance through the cemetery). Already cited in XIIe century, this church, still surrounded by its cemetery, has a Romanesque western tower in sandstone rubble but the access portal is more recent. In 1730, a restoration modified the nave in late Gothic style built in rubble tuffeau and flanked it by aisles curiously made of flint rubble, a transept and a choir with a flat apse. A new restoration, in 1926 and necessary after the fire of the building on by the soldiers of the Deutsches Heer, reconstructed the damaged parts in neo-gothic style. The interior features Romanesque limestone baptismal fonts from the XIIIe century with four faces and several funerary slabs dating from different periods.

- 12 Vouerie farm rue de la Vouerie
private property. –
Dating from 1608 in its present appearance, this farm was, until the end of theold regime, the residence of the Voué (representative of the prince-bishop). The tower, in brick with satchels sandstone down and tuffeau up, was one of the five defensive towers of the locality of Lixhe. It is in a meadow near La Vouerie, currently the subdivision of Clos Saint-Lambert, that the Vita Lamberti Leodiensis, the oldest biography of Lambert of Maastricht locates the first of the two stops of the procession proceeding to the translation from the body of the saint to Cork and where the "miracle of Saint-Lambert" took place when a blind man regained his sight.
- 13 Cite Henry (in Cheratte-Bas) –
Better known in the region under the simple name of "The city", it was built in 1923 to house the miners of the Hazard coal mining neighbor. From the start, the 200 houses were all connected to drinking water, sewerage and electricity networks. All of them also have a vegetable garden at the back and, except those in the central square, a small garden at the front. Still fully inhabited, the city is a haven of peace where children frolic in peace as well as a hotbed of multiculturalism.

Events
Visé has three guilds very old. That of the crossbowmen founded in 1310 by the prince-bishop of Liège in order to protect the newly acquired city and an arquebusiers created in 1579 in order to support the crossbowmen while following the technological evolution of weapons. These two guilds were dissolved, from a military point of view, at the end of the Ancien Régime in 1795 and gradually metamorphosed into two historical societies concerned with perpetuating their habits and customs. In 1909, the arquebusiers split into two companies, the Francs Arquebusiers on the one hand and the Former arquebusiers the other. Always very active, these companies make several annual outings in town and in particular during the feast of their patron saint.
